====== Smithsonian Releases Millions of Images to the Public ======
Continuing with a trend of creating digital 'museums' the Smithsonian Institute has released millions of images to the public under the [[https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/|Creative Commons CC0]] license. The CC0 license allows the public to use and display the work without permission or attribution. The creator releases the work from the copywrite license. [[:start|The Benevolent Expert]] will use these images and try to attribute any images under CC0 to the provider.
